תוֹרה חיים, Torah Chayim, is a niche of folks earnest to have Torah put in our minds and written on our hearts, whether from a Tanach standpoint or from a “New Testament” standpoint, to make Torah become alive. We believe that the Torah is a walk with HaShem and not a religion. We embrace all believers in the one true God who share a serious desire to learn, to worship, and to serve in biblical fashion, in Torah fashion. We take Abraham as our father, whether by blood, by tradition or by spirit. We honor those chosen by God to be His people. We affirm the land of Israel as being given by the God of the Hebrews to His people.
The flavor of Torah Chayim leadership is Jewish, in honor of the scripture, Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the corner of the garment of a Jew (יְהוּדִי), saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” ’ (Zechariah 8:23)
The unity of Torah Chayim is expressed by the scripture, And you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them for yourself one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand. (Ezekiel 37:16)
